			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Everyone has an opinion on the subject of exercising and the health benefits of it.  I tend to think if you stay away from processed carbs and food you should be able to keep your weight down.  Then exercising shouldn&#8217;t be BIG part of your life.  My husband and I eat about 80% organic foods.  We can&#8217;t eat organic foods all the time, one being when we eat out or at friends and family.  When are at home we eat ALL organic meats (no hormones or pesticides) and when we can we get grass feed beef.</p>
<p>As for the exercising, I have gone back to doing walks, set ups, &amp; push ups.  I don&#8217;t think you need to spend 3-4 hours a week exercising.  But doing some muscle building can help make the  muscles stronger.  This year I want to try to get down to about 120.  I know  I have been working on this for a while now.  I&#8217;m starting to get to my walks and starting back to eating healthy again.  I still need to cut back on eating some sweets and of course my coke habit.  We have a few trips planned this year, so hopefully that will help my well power.</p>
<p>I think exercising can be help full, but you don&#8217;t need to kill your self doing it either.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Yup I would agree.  I was doing pretty on losing weight before we went on our cruise in September.  It has seem since we came back I have not put any attention on keeping off my weight. <img src='http://www.kudos2fly.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_sad.gif' alt=':-(' class='wp-smiley' />   Plus now with the holidays and all the parties.  I think I will put of trying to lose weight until after January.  We have one fly-in, Camera club party, EAA party, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and a Birthday party for Ely&#8230;  A lot of Holiday Parties.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m going to try to stay at the weight I am now.  I weighted my self this morning and I weight 134.  I&#8217;m going to try to stay around that weight even may lose a pound or two.  We will see, then in January I&#8217;ll start on a real diet&#8230;</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Well I have lost a few pounds.  Today I weighed my self.  The scale said 127.7 pounds.  I have been under 130 for a few days.  But today was the first time I was below 128.  <img src='http://www.kudos2fly.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' />  That was nice to see. Hopefully I can stay under an 128 until our cruise.  I&#8217;m really wanting to go down to 125 before our cruise.  But I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;ll make that goal.  If I do I&#8217;ll be very happy.</p>
<p>My goal on the cruise is not to gain a whole lot of weight.  I know when I went on a cruise a couple of years ago I only gain about an pound.  I watched what I eat and the AMOUNT I eat.  That helped a lot. I still enjoy eating what I wanted, but I just cut everything in half.  I think the waiters were not use to that. They always kept asking if I like everything.</p>
<p>I was hoping to be down to 120 by the cruise, but that hasn&#8217;t happen.  I still will work toward that goal and keep my weight there.  It&#8217;s a challenge to keep weight off.  When you like to eat and enjoy your self.  You can&#8217;t go to a party with out having most everything either being carbs or sugar.  But that&#8217;s life and people have to learn to deal with it.  I&#8217;m learning my self.  I&#8217;m getting better at not wanting as many carbs as I use to&#8230; It&#8217;s a work in progress <img src='http://www.kudos2fly.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>I haven&#8217;t been on to talk about my weight lose.  I&#8217;m doing pretty well. I&#8217;m down around 129-130 in the morning. But still have a ways to go.  My goal is to get down to 120 of course.  I&#8217;m doing it slow this time, its really suppose to be better that way for you any ways.</p>
<p>Right now I&#8217;m just trying to &#8220;limit&#8221; my carbs and sugar.  Plus I get in as much walking as I can. When I go for a walk I&#8217;m gone about 45 minutes to an hour. I don&#8217;t think you need to work out 2 hours aday to lose weight. Plus who has that much time anyways. I know I don&#8217;t.  Plus I have been doing some yard work lately.  I think that counts also&#8230;  I have a goal of being at 125 or lower around our cruise date.</p>
<p>I hoping to lose another couple of pounds in the next few weeks.  I will see how I do.  I&#8217;m trying to get to a point in my life were I don&#8217;t feel like I&#8217;m always on a diet.  It seems thats the norm for alot of people.  But with all the carbs and sugar foods around, its hard not to be eating that stuff.  I love to eat and so I&#8217;m at times holding my self back from eating what I want. But it is getting easy to say no.  Its just you have to learn some self control to not eat everything in front of you. I have gotten better at it over the years.. and still learning.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Well I haven&#8217;t been doing well this weekend. This is Fouth of  July weekend. That wasn&#8217;t so bad, being I didn&#8217;t eat that much. But did have some dessert. I did NOT go back for more, which was a good thing. Tonight we will be saving bake potatoes and a little bet of dessert&#8230; Stressful day, I have been working on this blog and trying to set up a photo gallery.. Who thought it would be so hard&#8230;  So I have probably gained the few pounds,whis is the few pounds I have been working to get off these last few weeks..  Not a good thing.</p>
<p>So my target for next week is to not have any BEER&#8230;. I will not have any <span style="text-decoration: underline;">beer, carbs or sugar</span> until I get under 130.  Seems the only way I&#8217;m going to get my weight down is to get strict with my self. Plus I need to get my walks in as much as possible..</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t weighed my self yet, but I&#8217;ll be surprised if I&#8217;m under 134&#8230; My goal is to be at least at 125 by our cruise..</p>

<h2>Well as I&#8217;m not an trainer in fitness. I can only give my opinion.  I personally think walking is good for a lot of reason.  One just getting out side and getting some fresh air.  I try to walk at least 3-4 times a week. Although that doesn&#8217;t happen during the winter.  But even then I get my walking in. Just by not parking close to the store and walking out to my mail box.  I normally park in the back on a parking lot and walk in to a store.  Well unless its at night, then you probably don&#8217;t want to do that.</h2>
<h2>I know when I worked in an ER. I walked a lot, probably 2-3 miles in 12 hours.  I was always 125 when I work at the hospital. I never dieted or exercised.  But I did walk alot during that time. I didn&#8217;t realize it then, but not until I stop working there. Then my weight went up.</h2>
<h2>Now I eat better then I did then and I try to get as much walking in as possible.  I do think walking is good for people to do.</h2>
<h2>As for my weight I&#8217;m down to 126 so I&#8217;m doing good on that.</h2>

So I have lost about 10 pounds doing the Hcg shot.  So my goal right now is to lose inches and maybe some more weight.  I want to lose about 3-4 inches.  I think I should be able to do that.  Right now my goals are to eat small amounts of food and get some exercise in.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t had any cokes since Dec. 26, 2008.  I&#8217;m going to keep it like that.  Coke is not good for me anyways. It can lead to Kidney disease and bone problems.  So it&#8217;s unhealthy anyways.  Also keeping my sugar down and drinking lots of water.  I have been looking on the internet about losing inches.  You can find many people giving their own ideals. But most of them are about the same.</p>
<p><strong>1. Don&#8217;t eat 2 hours before bed &#8211; </strong>I already don&#8217;t eat 2 hours before bed. So that&#8217;s a good thing.<strong><br />
</strong></p>
<p><strong>2. Less Sugar</strong> &#8211; I&#8217;m starting to have more &#8220;snacks&#8221; again. So I need to cut back on that.</p>
<p><strong>3. Do Cardio</strong> &#8211; I do go for walks. I walk about an hour a day when I can.</p>
<p><strong>4. Eat 6 small meals a day</strong> &#8211; Well I have been cutting my portion sizes down and have a few snacks in between our main meals.</p>
<p><strong>5. Weightlifting</strong> &#8211; Mainly I do push ups, sit ups &amp; doing some free weights.</p>
<p><strong>6. Less Calories</strong> &#8211; Need to keep track on that better</p>
<p><strong>7. Drink Water</strong> &#8211; Do drink more water now than I have in the pasted.</p>
<p><strong>8. Eat Breakfast</strong> &#8211; Do that every morning..</p>
<p><strong>9. No Fried Foods</strong> &#8211; Haven&#8217;t done that in a long time.</p>
<p><strong>10. No Soda</strong> &#8211; Not since Dec. 26th <img src='http://www.kudos2fly.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>Some of these things I need improvement on. But I plan on working on that. I hope to lose a couple of inches by next month. This gives me a goal.</p>

I have drop a few more pounds.  I was at 139 now I&#8217;m down to 127.6.  I&#8217;m really doing well.  It&#8217;s surprising how little you need to eat.  We become so use to getting a lot of &#8220;junk&#8221; food.  Sometimes the food we eat we don&#8217;t consider junk food. But it is, like white bread, pasta, cokes and alot of other foods. I have cut out cokes since Dec. 25th and all &#8220;bad&#8221; carbs.  I feel good and look good.</p>
<p>I still have about 7 pounds to go. I hope to be down at my weight by the end of Jan. Then all I need to do is maintain it for the whole year.</p>
