Everyone has an opinion on the subject of exercising and the health benefits of it.  I tend to think if you stay away from processed carbs and food you should be able to keep your weight down.  Then exercising shouldn’t be BIG part of your life.  My husband and I eat about 80% organic foods.  We can’t eat organic foods all the time, one being when we eat out or at friends and family.  When are at home we eat ALL organic meats (no hormones or pesticides) and when we can we get grass feed beef.

Yup I would agree.  I was doing pretty on losing weight before we went on our cruise in September.  It has seem since we came back I have not put any attention on keeping off my weight. :-(   Plus now with the holidays and all the parties.  I think I will put of trying to lose weight until after January.  We have one fly-in, Camera club party, EAA party, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and a Birthday party for Ely…  A lot of Holiday Parties.

Well I have lost a few pounds.  Today I weighed my self.  The scale said 127.7 pounds.  I have been under 130 for a few days.  But today was the first time I was below 128.  :-) That was nice to see. Hopefully I can stay under an 128 until our cruise.  I’m really wanting to go down to 125 before our cruise.  But I don’t think I’ll make that goal.  If I do I’ll be very happy.

I haven’t been on to talk about my weight lose.  I’m doing pretty well. I’m down around 129-130 in the morning. But still have a ways to go.  My goal is to get down to 120 of course.  I’m doing it slow this time, its really suppose to be better that way for you any ways.

Right now I’m just trying to “limit” my carbs and sugar.  Plus I get in as much walking as I can. When I go for a walk I’m gone about 45 minutes to an hour. I don’t think you need to work out 2 hours aday to lose weight. Plus who has that much time anyways. I know... Read more »

Well I haven’t been doing well this weekend. This is Fouth of  July weekend. That wasn’t so bad, being I didn’t eat that much. But did have some dessert. I did NOT go back for more, which was a good thing. Tonight we will be saving bake potatoes and a little bet of dessert… Stressful day, I have been working on this blog and trying to set up a photo gallery.. Who thought it would be so hard…  So I have probably gained the few pounds,whis is the few pounds I have been working to get off these last few weeks..  Not a good thing.

Well I’m back again.  For a while I wasn’t watching my weight. I didn’t have really any goal for losing weight. I don’t know why you need one needs a goal, but I sometimes do.  Well I have one now. We are going on a cruise Sept. 6, 2009. I would like to get down to 120 by then I’m at 134 right now. I don’t know if I will make it, but I’m hoping I’ll get close.  I’m going to be exercising and watching what I eat.

(I do not normally comment to a blog but I am interested in this post so I felt stimulated to do so. Straying in a slightly different direction from the subject somewhat, what are your thoughts concerning walking? It is generally being advertised as the best exercise to burn fat.) Well as I’m not an trainer in fitness. I can only give my opinion. I personally think walking is good for a lot of reason. One just getting out side and getting some fresh air. Well I’m down to 128 about. So I have lost about 10 pounds doing the Hcg shot.  So my goal right now is to lose inches and maybe some more weight.  I want to lose about 3-4 inches.  I think I should be able to do that.  Right now my goals are to eat small amounts of food and get some exercise in.

I haven’t had any cokes since Dec. 26, 2008.  I’m going to keep it like that.  Coke is not good for me anyways. It can lead to Kidney disease and bone problems.  So it’s unhealthy anyways.  Also keeping my sugar down and drinking lots of water.  I have been looking... Read more »

Well I’m working my way down to the weight I want to be at. I have drop a few more pounds.  I was at 139 now I’m down to 127.6.  I’m really doing well.  It’s surprising how little you need to eat.  We become so use to getting a lot of “junk” food.  Sometimes the food we eat we don’t consider junk food. But it is, like white bread, pasta, cokes and alot of other foods. I have cut out cokes since Dec. 25th and all “bad” carbs.  I feel good and look good.

Just a note my weight today is 131.1 pounds. So I’m down from 139 about 7.9. Not bad, but I still have a ways to go. But I’m doing well.
